What did Santa bring you for Christmas?
If you’re like me, no one wants to give you quilting stuff because they think that you buy everything you want anyway. I have a list of cool things that you can use for future gift giving, or gifting to yourself.
Here are the references with links to help you find them easily:
Quilter

Hi, listened to your podcast while on my long run this morning. Someone on my quiltart list recommended you. I’d never heard of podcasts before and had just been downloading my cds to my ipod. It was a really good show. I really felt like I was “multi-tasking” doing my long run and listening to you. Some great tips by the way – I definitely want to go buy the sewing space organization book. Loved feeling like I was in your sewing room with you especially when you went to go chase the dog. Anyway, thought you might want to know about the Epson chip resetter. You don’t have to have the Ink guys reset your chip. I reset mine all the time and get a lot more mileage out of my ink cartridges. Here’s where I got mine http://www.epsonchipresetter.com/
Also, Gloria Hanson, who does a lot of photo quilts, writes for PC Magazine, and whose opinion I respect a great deal warns against refilling your ink cartridges. People have had problems with them leaking etc. I think if you start using a chip resetter, you’ll be much happier with your printer.
btw, a nice little feature unique to the Epson printers – if they use Durabrite inks – you do not have to use Bubble Jet Ink Set to prep your fabric. The Durabrite pigments are permanent.
Keep up the good work!
Just wanted to let you know that I have been enjoying your podcasts. I’m a knitter, but I am truly inspired by your quilts. Also, I linked to your podcast in my most recent blogpost. Hope that’s okay!
