You know that I have been jonesing for snow ever since we had the cold snap in California prior to Christmas. Every year of my life, I wish for a snowy Christmas morning — thank you Hollywood and all of those wonderful movies depicting snow. It’s not Christmas in 75 degree sun.
We heard that it would snow today, but that it would be gone by early afternoon. Now I’m not so sure. It IS beautiful and we have been having loads of fun taking pictures and standing outside to watch it.
Here’s a sneak peek:

Inspiring, isn’t it?! I would love to be home in this, with the blinds wide open, and quilting.
Let’s see if I really get home today ; )

Isn’t it Marvelous! That is what I saw here on Christmas Day–everyone should have come to my house. Or next year, we all go to Ry’s, even better. I know we talked about Mom, but it just struck me as I was reading all the kind well wishes for you that Gran would have had a hissy fit. Remember when you drove by yourself to see friends in Williams–Mom and I never heard the end of it for letting you go. Like we had some say in the matter, I am pretty sure you were over 21 at the time–3 hours or Cross Country!!!!!!!
Love
I hope you made it out okay. It was beautiful!
Annie,
I listened to the entire journey last night while working on a genealogy project. I was so touched when you reached NC because I could just feel the relief in your voice. To be at the end of such a journey and be with your family and know that you were safely there came through loud and clear in your voice.
Sooo, where are you? Did you make it home? Thanks for sharing your trip with us! I look forward to hearing the interviews you did along the way.
Cheers from Costa Rica. I heard the complete journey while driving to work. I even cried when you got to your son’s home. I can imagine how you felt. Congratulations because it was so nice to hear where you had been to. Can not wait to see all the pictures.
With love,
Teresa
Annie, I listened to Your “roadcasts” and I loved them. It made me cry when You finally arrived at Ryan and Karen’s. You’re so brave, I don’t know if I would’ve been able to do the same all by myself… I live in the North East so we still have plenty of snow but I still LOVE the pictures You posted. Can’t wait to listen to your interview-s. Tell Ryan I’m looking forward to their new podcast too :))
Annie, Inquiring minds need to know….Are you home safe and sound? Thank you for letting us be a part of your special journey. I loved it!
