Hello! I live in the Netherlands and there are not much quilters that listen to podcasts yet, it is mostly musicpodcasts over here. But I’d like to tell you how much I enjoy your podcasts. It’s just like sitting in a bee with you and your guest! I learn a lot from you! Finishing a little quilt for my mum I was listening to nr. 40 of your podcast. It is really nice to hear Kaye talking about her publishingevents. I also think there are lots of shows in Amerika, much more than here in Holland, probably. I am encouraged to make a quilt for our national guildshow in september, I always wanted to do that but didn’t dare. Now I will just do it! Maybe I will have succes, who knows? Thanks for the encouragement and please make lots of podcasts, I also listen to them when I’m on my bike on my way to work, typicly Dutch isn’t it, hahaha!
I simply loved this program Annie, it sounded such fun and apart from quilting I learnt a lot. Together with my daughter we started her very first quilt and I am hopeful that we have caught quiltpox. Would be better than chronic fatigue anyhow and a lot more interesting when you say it to people.
Please keep going with your podcasts. I am currently doing a quilt to say thank you to our primary school teacher who is retiring, which will be presented on the 29th March. I am working on perfection but guess it will take years.
Hello! Great show, I am totally addicted even though I am still learning about quilting. I have been trying to teach myself over the last 2 years but in 1 month I move and I hope to get more involved.
In this episode, I heard you talking alot about guilds and I had never heard of them before. (Isn’t it nice to learn new things everyday 😀 ) Anyway what goes on in these guilds? I am guess they put on shows and have meetings but do people get together to quilt? Just curious I guess.
Thanks! Keep up the Great podcast
