and here is Maria, one smart quilter!

Visit Maria’s Color Mastery website and blog to find out all of the details about the book, including a downloadable chapter and Video tutorials.

If you called in to leave me a voicemail to use for the “How I’m going use my Stash in 2009”, please call back and re-record your ideas! I lost the sound files by clicking my mouse just a little to quickly — to my (and WebGuy’s) dismay. I want to use them for the podcast featuring all of the ideas early next week — so please call back this weekend?!

Honey and Headphones podcast “Starting Fresh” featuring Ryan’s mom. Have a listen — you’ll find out 5 things about me you didn’t know.

  1. Another great podcast. It’s so much fun and interesting to hear people in the industry.
I would LOVE to see a copy of Maria’s new Color Mastery book. I’m sure it’s FULL of color ideas, I love color and hope to “master” it someday!

  2. Loved the interview with Maria. I know nothing about color. I even run from it. If I don’t have something to go by I’m in trouble. Please consider me for the drawing of her book. It would be so helpful and, I think, interesting to learn all about it. Thanks for the podcasts. Can’t live without them! Tammy

  3. Maria visits my site, Quilting Gallery, next on her blog tour and shares with readers an excellent video on how to create a colour wheel from your own stash.

    Happy quilting,
    Michele

  4. I just listened to your latest podcast and I enjoyed it very much. I have several books on how to use colour in quilts but still find it difficult at times. I am curious to see what new ideas Maria’s book has. Thanks for all the podcasts Annie.

  5. I have just recently discovered you Annie while developing a new company and sewing samples for it. What better to hear than a book from Maria on color, since I am trying to use my stash and leftover bolts of fabric from my previous store that fell victim to the economic crunch. Your podcasts have given me great inspiration and a “Can Do Attitude” while developing patterns, sewing samples, and developing marketing.

  6. Hi, Annie 🙂
I listened to this podcast while walking this morning, and it was FANTASTIC! I will be at Spring Market in Pittsburgh, and hope to meet both you and Maria! Color theory is something that we all definitely struggle with! Thanks for telling us all about this wonderful book 🙂

  7. Thank you, Annie, for interviewing Maria! I would be very grateful to be entered in the drawing for the book, as I have trouble arranging colors myself.

  8. Thank you Annie for another GREAT interview. Maria’s book sounds like something every quilter could use, even though she presents a list of those who do not need it LOL. I know I would love a copy. If I don’t win, I guess I’ll have to just order one 🙂

  9. I was so happy to hear a podcast on color. I know this is my weak point. Especially since I am a new quilter. I have all these great patterns and ideas but I’m scared that I will make them and they will turn out ugly. The comments about varried values is so true! I can’t wait to read the chapter on Maria’s webpage.

  10. I loved the podcast about Color Master Maria Peagler. Please enter me in the drawing for her book. I can hardly wait to try her suggestions in my applique. I love your podcast and look forward to every new podcast. Also, thanks so much for the suggestion about Kelley’s Pioneer Quilts podcast. It is excellent also!

  11. Annie as always I throughly enjoyed the pod cast! What a wonderful resource to have! You know from me taking one of your awesome classes that I struggle with color! Thanks Kim

  12. I loved the podcast on Color Techniques. Can’t wait to get the book. Please enter my name in the drawing.

    Thanks

  13. I’m looking forward to seeing the new book on Color Techniques – just what I need.

I am very new to podcasts and have really enjoyed the Quilting Stash.

Please enter my name in the drawing.
