Kathy is a barrel of fun and I enjoyed spending time with her and her friends from The Quilt Corner so much.
Here are some pictures with Kathy:
Kathy, in her studio with two of her furry friends. The white cat on the window sill is the one who had a bullet in her head. You can see that she’s a thriving cat now.
Sweet little Ella Fitzgerald, the Corgi.
The Order Fulfillment department. Don’t you love Kathy’s system? This would also be a great storage solution for fabric, books, magazines, etc. I love how colorful and happy it is.
More of Kathy’s storage system. Check out her stash of Fat Quarter packs and Jelly Rolls!
I love warnings like this on the side of boxes! There were at least 6 more flavors of King cake to choose from on the box.
This is a cute little house in Kathy’s neighborhood. The house design is so native to Louisiana. The roofs have an extra-pitched angle so the heat disperses better in the hot, humid summer months. I had never seen houses with roofs pitched so high.
Don’t forget to visit Kathy’s website, The Teacher’s Pet and her blog to leave a comment for a chance to win one of her Take 5 patterns. You’ll be amazed at the talent that you see on Kathy’s website!

Hi Annie: I don’t know what happened with your podcast #156, but just after she started talking about designing fabric, the podcast just went to what sounded like “mosh, mosh, mosh, mosh” and continued that way throughout. You might want to get your dear webguy to take a listen. Maybe that’s why you don’t have any comments? Anyway, thanks so much for these. It makes my otherwise dull days, bearable Cheers from Central Alberta!
Hi Annette – thanks for the comment. I just reviewed podcast #156 and it sounds just fine. No mosh mosh mosh. Wierd, huh? You may want to try re-downloading it.
If anyone else is having trouble with the audio on #156, please leave a comment. I’m not hearing any problems!
Thanks,
WebGuy
Just getting back to listening to podcasts. This is the start of my catching up.
I love how Kathy didn’t let anything stop her.
I can empathize with the animal thing though. We have 4 cats, 3 dogs and 1 snake. I am taking a break from fostering since I am recovering from surgery but normally there is usually at least 2-3 other dogs in the house. 2 cats came from Cat Rescue, 1 moved in, and 1 was found outside my daughters gym. Out of the cats 3 came home with my daughter . And 2 dogs did. Its a daughter thing I think. lol 1 from a humane society, 1 from a bar, and mine was one of my fosters hes an old man.
