What a delight to visit with Janet Shore, one of the original Quilt Guild founders of Northern California. Janet took her first class from Roberta Horton when Roberta taught at a community center in the late 70’s.

Janet has a wealth of information about her quilting adventures and she is fascinating to listen to. She is a fantastic quilter, too — and not a traditional one. She prefers the freedom of Art quilts. Janet is a founding member of the East Bay Heritage Quilt Guild and the Northern California Quilt Council and knows every national teacher/quilter on a personal level. In fact, her friends at the retreat lamented about how they can’t go to a quilt show with her without her stopping to greet nearly everyone she meets.
Janet is such a treasure! I hope you enjoy listening to her interview.

Annie,
First, I hope I meet you tomorrow at NCQC. You can look for me when they have announcements as my guild just set the dates for next year’s quilt show. (Carquinez Strait Stitchers).
Second, I’m trying to download your podcasts just now. In the past, I would click on the title, and it would save it to my desktop as WMP no problem. Now, it starts playing it in QuickTime. Not saving it ITunes or my desktop.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
Nevermind. I uninstalled the quicktime, and it’s working just fine now…
