American Quilter’s Society and iquilt are really good at doing great promotions — like this one that starts today and goes through Monday!

Yes, I’m still working on my crippled little website to get it back to spiffy again. In the meantime, I’m working on getting ready for Quilt Market — where I’ll be from October 29th – 31st.

And then guess what?!  I’m going to be teaching in Greensboro, NC at Studio Stitch on November 17th – 19th. I’ll be doing a BERNINA ambassador program on Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00pm, and teaching a Color Sense, two-day workshop.

Then, on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, I’ll do a BERNINA Ambassador program for BERNINA World of Sewing in Raleigh. Please see both of their websites for complete information.

I’ll be bringing a huge trunk show of quilts, including the companion quilt to my Aurifil thread collections, Love is Spoken Here, which will debut at Quilt Market.  Here’s another reminder:

Aren’t those colors just so yummy?! My friend, Lori Kennedy of The Inbox Jaunt fame, is busy quilting the quilt for me. Can you even imagine what it’s going to look like with Lori’s gorgeous quilting and that lustrous Aurifil 28 wt. thread? Well, here’s a little sneak peek for you:

Oh yeah — I can tell you that I was A-MAZED when I saw that photo. And that’s just a small sample of what’s to come.

I hope to see you either at Market or in North Carolina in the near future!  Hey, drop me a comment or an email!

  1. Oh Annie, I love and follow Lori and love her work! The new quilt is with out a doubt your finest work! It is a reflection of your beautiful work and creative mind and now with the same coming out from Lori, I can hardly wait to see it! I’m sure you will let us know as soon as it’s ready..Cathy

  2. Hi Cathy — thank you so much! Ok — so just wait til you see it! I’ll share it next Friday after I get my Market booth set up.
I’m so excited to be working with Lori. We met last year at BERNINA and she suggested we collaborate on a quilt. What a brilliant idea. Her work on the quilt is well, amazing.

  3. Love your new quilt and Loris quilting on it. I would love to get my hand on those quilting threads too! I miss your podcast but understand that there are only so many hours in the day for you…
I made a list of what you suggest to take to class in a sewing box and use it when I’m headed out with my machine.
    Thank you!

  4. Thank you Mary K! Hopefully those thread collections will be coming to a local quilt shop near you!
