I hope you enjoy the interview I did with Carolyn Woods of Totally Tidy Household Organizing and Robin and Diana from Tater Patch Quilts.
Here is the book, Organizing Solutions for Every Quilter, C&T Publishing —

You may already have it in your quilting book library. I did! I’m so happy because now I can use it to really get organized this summer. I’m looking forward to going through my stash once again, to cull out things that I no longer want so I have room for new things.
Please leave a comment here. I’m going to start doing giveaways again and you’ll want to get into practice leaving a comment here ; )
Also, I’m going to do podcasts on a regular basis again — this is my commitment to you. They’ll come out on Wednesdays. I’m also going to do regular blog posts, which will be available on Fridays. Along with regular Facebook posts (follow me at Annie Smith’s Quilting Stash fan page) and Instgrams — anniesmithqs.
And here’s the link to April Cornell. WELL GUESS WHAT??!! April is designing fabric for Free Spirit!! How did I miss that?! Here’s a link to her most current line with them: Free Spirit Designers
Hope to hear from you soon — and Happy Quilting!

Hi Annie, Great to hear your latest podcast. When you were mentioning a need for a thread color palette, I immediately thought of the rainbow palette of your blog logo. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Thank you so much, Margaret! I appreciate your reminder of the colors of my logo
Annie, It’s so great to see you post again. Haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but I will. I’m all up for organizing solutions, my studio space isn’t pretty, but it’s mine and I love having it. I keep using small pieces, so I have a hard time culling anything.
I really enjoyed your podcast! I listened to it as I worked on an appliqué project. I’m ordering my organizing book My friend and I just started a quilt group in our community. We have about 15 who meet and bring a project to sew and share. The book will be a great topic to get the new group visiting!
Hi Lynn! It’s so good to see you here! I just saw that picture of the two of us from Quilt Week in Charlotte. It was great to meet you.
I’m so happy to hear that the book and group idea is so quickly being put to use! It sounds like you have the perfect group for it, Lynn. Keep me posted on that – okay?
Welcome back Annie!
KELLY!! It’s so good to see you here.
I truly enjoyed this episode! I have to confess that I LOVE organizing my sewing space – almost as I much as I enjoy the actual sewing! I think I could have a second career as a professional organizer! However, after listening to the podcast, I became even more motivated! I moved some furniture around, cleaned off some bookshelves – and now have a box of goodies for my guild’s freebie table! So glad you’re back, Annie! 🙂
I’m so glad to be of help, Callie! And so glad that you’re still listening. It’s good to be back ; )
I loved hearing about the book and really enjoyed the interview. I’m ordering the book and am eager to get it. I have a small quilting room and struggle to keep it organized. Thanks!
Thank you for commenting Amanda! I’m so glad that you enjoyed the podcast and that you’re going to get organized. Take before and after photos so you can see your accomplishment.
Happy Quilting — and organizing!
April Cornel is based in Burlington VT. I go to the bargain basement in the Flagship store frequently. Love the designs and styles. Sometimes the workmanship not so much for full price. I believe she had a divorce some years back and restructured after that. She resurfaced after a going it of business closing on Church St. So maybe the chain stores disappeared then.
Thanks for the information, Claire! I see that she has a pretty strong web presence again, and I love seeing it. Wow — I would love to be able to shop at the Flagship store. The little outfit that I bought for Cambria when I was with you is still a family favorite and has been worn by three girls so far. I sure miss you!
