3 Tips for better quilting

Holiday Craft workshop in the Quilting Stash Classroom

Visit Ricky Tims’ Christmas in a Small Town to share your Christmas memories and find out more about the CD. Make sure to look at the video of Ricky at 21 months old, coveting his cousin’s piano — it’s priceless!

Christmas in the BIG Apple — if you’re going to New York for Christmas, make sure to wander to Times Square to see the gigantic quilts on the Astrovision screen – 28′ x 38′ – in all of their quilty splendor. Thanks to The City Quilter whose quilts are displayed. And don’t miss the opportunity to visit that faboo store while you’re there, but not on Mondays, when they’re closed.

The current issue of Quilter’s Home magazine (January 2010) has an article by me, “Ditch the Fear” about the fears that are so common with quilting.

Marie Bostwick — sequel to her short story “A High-kicking Christmas”, can be foudn in Fern Michael’s new book, “Snow Angels”.

  1. Nice follow up from the visit to VT. I know Priscilla will be pleased. Ricky’s CD is great. He performed some of those songs at the Super Seminar concert last spring. Noah has just finished a Mariner’s compass pillow for his cousin for Xmas. And Liam, younger brother, is busy making pillows too. It’s fun to have boys who quilt. I just need my turn in the quilting room before Xmas. Claire in Vermont. (Noah’s mom)

  2. Congratulations! She’s beautiful. I’m so glad you were there when she was born. You are going to have soooo much fun. Welcome to the club. Thanks for sharing a picture.
    Cheers – Phyllis in Sonoma

  3. Oh, and your girls, also amazing. And beautiful! Do you live in/near Cambria? Wondering if that’s where the name originated. (I live near Cambria.)

  4. Eek, I can’t shut up! Congratulations to your son on his project. My husband is an Eagle Scout, and it’s something to be proud of for a lifetime.
