Recently I completed the very first class for Quilting Stash Classroom. It was the Quilter’s Palette sampler quilt.
We had over 60 participants from 7 different countries – most of them from the US. Feedback on this class was remarkable! I am so proud of it’s success; we have 19 finished quilt tops already and many more nearly done!! Isn’t that great?!
These quilters should be congratulated for a job well done! Please go to the Student Gallery link and view their completed quilt tops. Be sure to scroll down to the Sesson 1 gallery. Their completed quilt tops begin around page 11.
Once you’ve seen the pictures, be sure to come back here and make a comment about which finished quilt top strikes your fancy and why! Students would LOVE to see your comments.
WOW!!! The color choices, blocks shown and quilts completed are all spectacular. Great job everyone. Thanks for sharing
I’m so proud of each of the quilters! Aren’t their quilts gorgeous?
They are all gorgeous but my personal favourite is CIndy L’s. The colours just seem to sing.
I really liked to see these quilts. I almost signed up to the class but realized we were going for vacation the time the class was held so I skipped… Next time! I really really liked Wendy’s quilt, I feel like Her color choices are the closest to my taste. Also Sue’s quilt got my attention since it was quilted already. Finally Linda’s quilt made it interesting as She put a tumbling blocks in, loved the contrast! It’s good to see what to expect at the end, really inspiring! Fantastic job everyone, lots of thanks for sharing.
They are all so great! Of the finished ones, I think I particularly like the colors in Beth Ann’s.
Is the pattern available for purchase?
Hi Courtney — thanks for asking. The Quilter’s Palette is available only as an online class, not a pattern. With each of the blocks being a specific technique, it would take a book to outline all of the instructions.
The best way to understand the complete construction of the quilt is the online class, which repeats once the current class is finished.
Happy Quilting!
