Jane Davila at the end of session two of Empty Spools Seminar at Asilomar. Firsts for both of us – Jane as a teacher and me as Artist in Residence. We both felt the honor of being there.

This was a great podcast. You work so hard!! Thanks.
Did you know there was a slight overlap with Jane’s interview and, I think, your son’s song. It made me smile. It was just minutes into the interview. Thanks for all your interviews Annie.
Thank you Kelly — Yes, we found out early this morning about Robin’s song being in there, and WebGuy fixed it before he left for work.
Thanks so much for letting me know!
Hi Annie,
I have missed hearing your voice while you have been so busy. I am glad to hear you again.

I love learning about each artist! Jane, it was great to see your beautiful artwork and feel your exuberance! How fun & educational your classes must be!
This was a fun interview. I just love learning more about people form different source. Always something new to learn. Jane will be a thrill to have at our guild in Oct- in VERMONT! Yes that’s right did you know she will beat you here by a month!
Annie:
You rock, girlfriend! Thanks for making me sound so good!! It was sooo much fun hanging out with you in California.
I did, Claire! Jane and I were talking about where we are teaching this year, and I told her about Noah. She’s looking forward to meeting y’all!
Love you, Jane!
I loved listening to Jane and there was so much to glean I have to go back and listen to it again!! Thanks for including us in your awesome talk w/Jane.
Annie,
Great interview with Jane. It was so good I couldn’t sleep through any of it! I know that is an odd thing to write, but it was 2 am and I was tired. You kept asking these neat questions. I am a subscriber to Quilting Arts and now have a face & voice to go with one of the contributors!
Thanks!
Hi Annie,
Another GREAT interview. As you know I love art quilting and have Jane and Erin’s Art Quilts Workbook. I bought it without even opening the book.
Thanks again for your interviews and for taking us along with you on your quilting adventures.
Cheers!
I really enjoyed the podcast. I liked the way you presented techniques in your first book and look forward to your new one with Elin.
I bought the new book…great. Good to hear a casual conversation. Good to hear someone who does art quilts who considers themself an ARTIST. Good luck Annie and Jane, from a historian who loves oral history…good interview
Loved the interview! Going to listen to the next and play catch up as we are trying to ditch the flu bug in our home. Your pod-casts keep me a float 🙂 Keep up the great work!

I really enjoyed your interview with Jane and was excited to hear from it that she would be teaching at the Quilt Expo in Chicago in April. I made sure to attend the class (and even got really lucky to have both myself and my friend make it into the class via the lottery draw!). I told Jane that I had heard her with you and she was so nice and even shared how you two first froze during the interview and then got smoked out from trying to have a fire started and then cold again as you tried to get rid of the smoke before it set off the fire alarm and woke the other Asilomar guests up. How funny! As she was talking about the interview I had this surreal moment as I realized that I was talking in person with the person that I was recently listening to on the podcast! Anyway, thank you for this and all your great interviews.
