I decided that it’s finally time to empty out my “Treasure Box” to make room for the new treasures that will be sent to me with the advent of Fall Quilt Market. So, in regular style, I’m passing on the goodies and gems to you.

But before we go there, I want to remind you that the Exploring Fabric Choices online class registration has been extended to October 15th. Which means, you have until October 15th to sign up for the most important workshop you will ever take. On October 16th, registration will close and it will go into the Quilting Stash Classroom archives. Don’t delay — you will have 30 days from the day you sign up to complete the workshop, which is usually completed in 2 days.

Here are the rules before we start:

Leave me a comment for each book you desire to win. Do not leave me a comment with a list of books you desire to win — I will delete any comments that has a list of books. I want one comment for one book. You can leave as many comments as you wish. You can win more than once, if I draw your name.

In the comment field, I want to know why you like this book, what inspires you, etc. so I can give that feedback to the Publishers — who want to know!

I will draw the lucky winners on October 19th — so please comment!

Here are the books for the Giveaway:

These next two books, and only these two books, are counted as ONE Giveaway:

and last but not least…

so, good luck! And remember the rules for entering the Giveaway, located at the top of the blog!

  4. I have always loved Kaffe Fassett fabric and books. I can look at his books over and over and it never grows old. I am often inspired to try something new after looking through one of his books. I would love to add his book “Welcome Home” to my quilting library!

  5. I am love Kim Diehl. Her quilts inspire me to try new things. They also make aplique something that I can do and non intimidating. I recently participated in an online bid for her signed book and one of her quilts. Unfortunately the bid got too high and I had to stop bidding. I would love to have her book Simple Graces to add to my quilting library

Please disgard previous reply – I did not name the book correctly.

  24. I so need to reduce my stash. Cindy Casciato and Nancy Zieman’s book Stash With Slash Quilts would be a great help. And I love instructions on DVDs.

  25. Yoskiko Jinzenji’s book Quilting Line & Color is just the kind of book my daughter would love. It has the type of comtemporary projects she so enjoys working on and I am learning to love them as well. Lots of mother-daughter quilting time would be the result.

  30. Stash with splash- was another book that really caught my interest. I have a large stash and really would like to organize and sucessfully use it up!!

  31. Hi Annie
Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to win a BOOK. I am a lot like you with regards to books. I think I have 1/3 of the books on the list ! I would love to win Bloom Creek Quilts. The quilts don’t look hard to do AND they have a simplistic feel
    Thanks again

  32. Hi Annie
Me again. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE anything with a wintery, snowman (woman), snowflake feel. (except the real snow of course). The book has a wonderfully playful look
    Thanks

  33. Flower Show Quilts- I forgot I had not purchased this book. I like applique, and this is really a fresh approach. I would need guidance to have backgrounds like this !

  34. Again…I like to do applique and this book looks very interesting (Pieced Applique- More Blocks & Projects…the second listed with this name)

  35. And finally, Start With a Sweatshirt looks like it would be fun. I have not sewn anything wearable for myself in years. This might be a good place to start
Thanks much for all of your wisdom !

  36. Please disregard email. I finally found the comment link.

I would like to be entered in the drawing for The Art of Elegant Hand Embroidery Embellishment and Applique.
I came into quilting from sewing heirloom dresses for my two daughters. I love embellishment and applique, especially because I can use it on garments and sewing. I do more quilting now than anything since my girls are grown. I much prefer a book that is all about technique and eye candy so that I can put it into what ever project I like. I also like that there are so many textures that can be created with these techniques. I rarely make anything without surface embellishment. I especially love handwork because i can sit with my family and stitch away.
    Thanks for offering this book.

  37. I like the Pieced Applique Blocks, Intricate Blocks Made Easy. I am always looking for more challenging projects and this looks like it has some really awesome blocks. I have never done pieced applique and would like to learn about this technique.

  38. I would love to win Kaffe’s Book “Welcome Home”. His books always offer such eye candy. Even non-quilters that come to my house enjoy his books. I like to use them as coffee table books. His ideas are so refreshing and fun to look at over and over.

  39. I would be delighted to add Another Bite of Schnibbles to my collection. I’m a newer quilter and love getting to work with precuts. It’s especially nice to use a little bit of an entire fabric line in a project.

  40. The Charm School book looks delightful. I particularly love charm squares because they are inexpensive to buy and usually cheap to ship!

  41. Quilting: Line and Color looks like an edicational pick. I’ve been quilting for only about 6 months and know that color, value, hue, etc is a weakness for me. I’d love to learn more about it with this book!

  42. Fresh Quilting looks like a book that belongs on my shelf! I was inspired to start quilting after looking at the beautiful pictures of modern quilts. This book looks like it fits right into my interest!

  43. Hi, Annie! Please enter me for “Fresh Quilting” by Malka Dubrawsky. I love that the word “fearless” is in the subtitle, because Malka is certainly that. It’s great how she puts together color and pattern. It’s so fresh.
