I decided that it’s finally time to empty out my “Treasure Box” to make room for the new treasures that will be sent to me with the advent of Fall Quilt Market. So, in regular style, I’m passing on the goodies and gems to you.

But before we go there, I want to remind you that the Exploring Fabric Choices online class registration has been extended to October 15th. Which means, you have until October 15th to sign up for the most important workshop you will ever take. On October 16th, registration will close and it will go into the Quilting Stash Classroom archives. Don’t delay — you will have 30 days from the day you sign up to complete the workshop, which is usually completed in 2 days.

Here are the rules before we start:

Leave me a comment for each book you desire to win. Do not leave me a comment with a list of books you desire to win — I will delete any comments that has a list of books. I want one comment for one book. You can leave as many comments as you wish. You can win more than once, if I draw your name.

In the comment field, I want to know why you like this book, what inspires you, etc. so I can give that feedback to the Publishers — who want to know!

I will draw the lucky winners on October 19th — so please comment!

Here are the books for the Giveaway:

These next two books, and only these two books, are counted as ONE Giveaway:

and last but not least…

so, good luck! And remember the rules for entering the Giveaway, located at the top of the blog!

  1. I’d also like Fresh Quilting I’m loving the more “modern” quilts these days, so this book would be a great addition to my library! Thanks Annie!

  2. I love the cover of Bloom Creek Quilts — combining patchwork and applique is one of my favorite things to do!

  3. Candy Cane Lane looks like it would be full of inspiration for the quickly approaching holidays. Thanks for doing such fun give-away, Annie!

  4. Country Quilts Goes To Charm School looks like it could be a fun use for my many scraps!

  5. The cover of The Art of Hand Embroidery reminds me of an Baltimore Quilt Block in 3D. I love appliqué and the Baltimore blocks. Really would love to try this threedimensional technique.

  6. The Flower Show Quilts Book is interesting because of the appliqué on a pieced background. The flowers look like real flowers. A friend of mine loves poppies, it would be nice to make her the quilt shown on the cover.
I also like books that show the quilting in the photographs too.

  7. Piece in the Hoop looks like a great book. I have an embroidery attachment for my machine and need some new ideas for it.

  8. Bloom Creek Quilts has some wonderful patterns in it, I have seen it at quilt shops. I would love to win it.

  9. Doing small projects are fun . Fresh Quilting would give me the ideas I need to use up some of my stash.

  10. Thank you Annie for your podcasts. I enjoy everyone of them. You inspire me to try new things and try to improve my quilting skills. I can tell you really like what you do! Start with a Sweatshirt would be another book to get me to do something for gifts for those who do not like quilty things.

  11. I love all of Kim Diehl books and I love that cover quilt! Just think of all the scraps I could use up…

  12. I would love to have Kaffe Fasset’s book, I love his use of color! Thanks for the giveaways and all your podcasts.

  13. Hi Annie, I’d like to win these books because I love making baby quilts and the Animals would be perfect for that. The Flowers quilt book is interesting -I could see using my scraps in a quilt with these designs. I love taking quilt blocks and putting them together in my own design of a quilt layout. I may not be “arty” enough to design blocks, but I do pretty good combining blocks to make one of a kind quilts.

  14. Hi Annie,
I’d like to win this book so that I can try a new technique for mt embroidery machine. I have enjoyed adding embroidery to my quilts.

  15. Okay, I’m going to feel like I’m greedy but here goes.

I’d like to win Piece in the Hoop because I want to do more with my embroidery machine. I just received an email about it and have been thinking about getting it. winning would be better.

  16. Then there is the Big Ass Book of Home Decor. I heard the author on a Mark Lipinski podcast, liked what I heard. And I just love the brashness (for lack of a better word) of the title. It makes me laugh.

  17. Next is Fresh Quilting. The cover and the concept appeal to me. I am often in a rut with my colors, this would definitely help.

  18. Now there is Start with a Sweatshirt 2. I love sweatshirt jackets. They provide just the right amount of warmth on a cool fall day, are cozy, and easy to make.

  19. What can’t you say about Kaffe Fassett? I have several of his books. Love the color, love the designs. Can’t get enough.

  20. Last but not least is the Art of Elegant Hand Embroidery. I started a Baltimore album years ago. Didn’t finish it. Still want to make one. Seems to me that this book would be a welcome help in that endeavor.

Thank you for having this contest. whether I win something or not, it was fun.

  21. I’d be interested in The Big Ass Book of Home Décor. How can you go wrong with a title like that?

  22. I’m loving Candy Cane Lane, though I may have to wait til next year to finish a Christmas quilt at this time of year.

  23. Quilting…Line + Color…wow, your information on the podcast sounds like just the kind of book I could look at for hours and just enjoy the inspiration. This one I’d really love to win.

  24. Another Bite of Schnibbles is one I would love to win to give to my girlfriend, who has the first two books and loves them.

  25. Bloom Creek Quilts is my last entry. Thanks for all the great book offerings, I’d love to win any of the ones I commented on.

  26. Welcom home by Kaffe Fassett-I would love his book as I have some of his fabric and have made many quilts with his designs

  27. Another bit of Schnibbles by Carrie Nelson-I need to use up my charm packs and would love this book!

  28. Bloom Creek Quilts – I’m inspired by the cover picture with the simplicity of the quilting mixed with the applique.

  29. Candy Cane Lane – I’m always looking for new ideas on holiday crafts and gifts I can make for others.

  30. Stash with Splash Quilts – those look like really cool quilts, and I can definitely use something to stash-bust my bins of quilting fabrics!

  31. Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique More Blocks and Projects – wow – look at all of those beautiful blocks – I’m inspired by all the gorgeous block designs.

  32. Pieced blocks – Intricate blocks made easy – I like easy. I could really wow some of the folks I make things for. 🙂

  33. Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique Weekend projects – These sound like they have really good gift-giving ideas, and I like that they are quick!

  34. Quilting Line and Color – I have toyed with the idea of making abstract quilts some day, and would love to see the Japanese styles. Your description of the grandmother’s flower garden quilt/curtain was also intriguing.

  35. Country Threads go to Charm School – I love making the smaller quilts, and the pictures of the quilts on the cover are inspiring, especially the little pink and brown one.

  36. and lastly… Quilts of Thimble Creek – all those designers, all those ideas – looking forward to reading about all those treasures/quilt designs.

  37. I love the look of the Pice in a hoop book – I have a machine that has an embroidery attachment but am a little bit afraid of it i think. I don’t know what to do with the images that are in the machine and other than stitching them out and making lavender pillows with them I am afraid my imagination doesn”t flow. I know there is so much I could do and the book looks like a good place to start. Thank you. Caroline
Ps I have the 50 Favourite quilt designs and think it is an amazing book – would reccomend it to any quilter new or experienced.

  38. Another Bite of Schnibbles interest me because I’m always looking for patterns to make using charm squares and layer cakes. From your description it sounds like Carrie offers two size options and two color options for each pattern. I liked that in her book Schnibbles Times Two.
