I decided that it’s finally time to empty out my “Treasure Box” to make room for the new treasures that will be sent to me with the advent of Fall Quilt Market. So, in regular style, I’m passing on the goodies and gems to you.
But before we go there, I want to remind you that the Exploring Fabric Choices online class registration has been extended to October 15th. Which means, you have until October 15th to sign up for the most important workshop you will ever take. On October 16th, registration will close and it will go into the Quilting Stash Classroom archives. Don’t delay — you will have 30 days from the day you sign up to complete the workshop, which is usually completed in 2 days.
Here are the rules before we start:
Leave me a comment for each book you desire to win. Do not leave me a comment with a list of books you desire to win — I will delete any comments that has a list of books. I want one comment for one book. You can leave as many comments as you wish. You can win more than once, if I draw your name.
In the comment field, I want to know why you like this book, what inspires you, etc. so I can give that feedback to the Publishers — who want to know!
I will draw the lucky winners on October 19th — so please comment!
Here are the books for the Giveaway:

These next two books, and only these two books, are counted as ONE Giveaway:

and last but not least…

so, good luck! And remember the rules for entering the Giveaway, located at the top of the blog!

Oh my, Annie! Such a lot of books. I’d like to win Kim Diehl’s Simple Graces, because everything she does is just wonderful. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I’d like to win the Candy Cane Lane book. With a last name like mine, how can I not like anything that reminds me of this time of year?
I am only going to pick one applique book, although there are plenty of gorgeous ones. I haven’t done a whole lot and I don’t foresee doing a lot in my future, but if I were ever to do one, it would have to be the Rose of Sharon.
Oh wow, I may have to leave more than one comment, you generosity is outstanding.
I would love the Word Play book, I read the authors blog and have wanted to try them for ages.
Oh I can’t resist the Kaffe Fassett book, just to try for a win, I looove his books and fabric.
Thank you again.
Quilting Line + Color would be fantastic! I love asymetrical quilts and improvisational designs, and this book sounds fresh and fun!
I took a class with Kim Diehl, and she was wonderful. Her new take on traditional quilts never gets old. In fact her quilt designs keep getting better. I would love to add some Simple Graces projects to my to-do list.
What a list of books to choose from! I would love the Rose of Sharon Block book. The patterns are in beautiful colors -very striking and interesting. I would love to make a quilt with some of those blocks! It’s nice to have you back doing podcasts again, always enjoy hearing what you have to say. Thanks for the opportunity to win – Sue in Florida
Of course, I’d like to win Another Bite of Schnibbles. I may be the only person who hasn’t made a schnibble yet! I like Carrie’s fabric combinations and her techniques.
I’d also like to win the Kaffe Fassett book. I already have one, can’t remember the name, but I made one of my first quilts from it and my hubby and I love it best. His fearless use of color is inspiring and it inspires me to combine what I like and, to me at least, that works!
I would like to win the Word Play Quilts’ book. I recently watched a show where she showed her technique and it looked like a fun way to add lettering to a quilt. I think I could do it! 🙂 Thank you for the giveaway.
Candy Cane Lane by Melinda Bula has an appealingly festive cover….I bet the patterns would be fun to make!
I love patterns by Kim Diehl and I know already that I would really enjoy her patterns in Simple Graces 🙂
I would love to win the Big Book of Patchwork. I am a scrap quilter, and I know Judy Hopkins always has great instuctions with very creative quilts. Thanks for the giveway!
I’m attracted to appliqued patterns that have patchwork backgrounds and would surely enjoy learning the technique that is offfered in Lynn Ann Majidmehr’s Flower Show Quilts book.
Another Bite of Schnibbles intriques me. I have collected 5 and 10″ squares, and I’m sure I would be inspired to use them with this book.
Ahhh, who can’t resist Kaffe Fassett? Everything he turns out is great. I would love to add Welcome Home to my library. I love that his quilts are so contemporary, without being fussy.
Wow…a 2fer1-er!
I can only imagine the endless possibilities for quilty gifts that can be made by 45 Quilt Block Animals & 45 Quilt Block Flowers!!! (of course, if I won….then I’d find out!!)
Love, love, LOVE to applique….
Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique is sure to have patterns that I must try!
Word Play Quilts is on my list of books I would like to own. I think the idea of piecing words on quilts is wonderful and whimsical. I want to make a word quilt that describes our family’s journey (my journey in particular) which has included 10 years of health and then 21 years of illness so far.
Kim Diehl’s Simple Graces book appeals to me because I like the look of her projects and the unique way she puts her quilt projects together.
Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique – More Blocks & Projects = just because more is better-er!!
Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique – Intricate Blocks Made Easy = now, what can be better than another Penny Haren book?!!
Hop to It by Edyta Sitar would be a book I would choose. I like the scrappy way she makes quilts.
Penny Haren’s Pieced Applique – More Blocks & Projects = because I love the cover quilt!
The Big Book of Patchwork by Judy Haskins has so many quilt ideas in it that I’d never leave my sewing room again….except to shop for more fabric!! 🙂
The cover of Quilts of Thimble Creek has me interested to discover the quilt patterns offered inside!
I love the color combinations that Kaffe Fassett offers and am intrigued by his newest book, Welcome Home.
Piece in the Hoop looks like it would be right up my alley. I have just purchased a machine to do embroidery, and this book looks like it would be full of inspiration as well as instruction to do it right! Thanks for the giveaway.
Thank you “sew much”, Annie, for this awesome giveaway!!!
Hi Annie, How nice of you to give away so many books. I just saw tony Ricucci on the Quilt show. I am using her letter techniques in a baby quilt I am making for my soon to be born 1st grandchild. I would love to have her book.

Vicki
Hi Annie
I would love to win the Schnibbles book. I love the look of Carrie Nelson’s quilts, but have never made one. I had a huge collection of scrappy charm squares from a swap that carried over about 2 years, so I need some patterns to use them up!
Sorry about double comments. i didn’t realize it posted. i really enjoyed an interview with Malka D. on somebody’s podcast. I would love to have her book to share with my daughter who is into the modern quilting scene.
thanks
vicki
My second choice would be Charm School – for the same reason as above – to use up that big stack of charm squares I have collected.
someone gave me a charm [pack and I don’t know what to do with it. So the charm school book would be a great help!
Christmas is my favorite time of year and I would love to win the book Candy Cane Lane by Melinda Bula. Thanks for the chance!
I think the book Word Play Quilts is very cool and my son would love for me to make him one like this. I have seen a lot of subway graphics and this seems to be similar to that style.
I love the book Flower Show Quilts!! I would hope by reading this book I would be able to create something even half as beautiful.
Fresh Quilting looks very interesting. I am attracted by the colors and the geometrics. My sons would love quilts made in this style.
I would love to win Quilting on the Go by Carolyn Forster. I always try to have a portable project going as well as the larger “can only work on at home” project.
The Rose of Sharon Block Book by Sharon Pederson is beautiful. I would like to challenge myself and try to create piece of work that intricate.
The Piece in the Hoop looked interesting, so I looked it up on amazon, have never seen it before. I love that book and from what I read, I can learn how to use my machine better and learn some new techniques, looks like a lot of fun to do and a great way to use my embroidery machine. So, I will pick, Piece in the Hoop!
Debbie
I would like the Fresh Quilting book. I have in mind sewing machine covers for a couple of people on my Christmas list and love the one on the cover. I’m always looking for fun quilted projects that aren’t quilts.
I would like Candy Cane Lane. I’m a sucker for holiday projects.
Annie, Wow, you must have so much fun looking at new books! I have looked at the Fresh Quilting book and would love to try some of the projects with bright colors! Thanks for the chance.
I see a fabric headboard on the cover of The Big- Ass Book of Home Decor and would love to try to make it! I ‘m always wanting to add more to my home decorating in addition to my quilts and this looks like a fun book. Thanks for sharing all of these great books!
Simple Graces! I took a class from Kim Diehl several years ago, and I just love her work!
Another Bite of Schnibbles! I have admired Carrie Nelson’s work for a long time, but I don’t have any of her patterns, and would love to win this one!
Flower Show Quilts looks like a fantastic book. I am amazed at how quiltmakers can make flowers look so real and 3-dimensional. I would love to learn this technique.
